The Smoot Teen Advisory Board is looking to expand! Are you interested in volunteering your ideas to create better programming and services for teens at Smoot? Have suggestions for materials that you'd like to see here? Want to become a more active member of your community or maybe do some volunteer work?
The Teen Advisory Board is a great way to do these things as well as make new friends and have a good time in the process! If you're interested in joining TAB, please fill out an application and turn it in to Youth Services Librarian, Katie, or the Smoot front desk by May 15, 2011. You may print out a TAB Application available here, or come to the library and pick one up! All teens ages 12-18 are welcome to apply! We are particularly looking for males right now, so that they are fairly represented on the Board. But girls, don't hesitate to apply, you will definitely be given consideration! :)
